This is from Joanna.  She started to type it but couldn’t really finish it.  Yet it is so good I wanted to share it with you guys.  Enjoy.  FYI this post was right before Benny started to crawl.

I truly apologize for the delay in posting a new blog, Benny is growing so fast I’m sure I’m experiencing some sort of whiplash. Time flies when your having fun! Besides getting into almost everything Benny isn’t crawling yet, thats right! Of course you would never know it by looking at our living room as well as every other room in our house. He may not be crawling yet but he is very mobile, be has mastered the art of rolling from place to place, not to mention the other methods he has, such as the army crawl, the slither and the all time favorite, the dive from a crawling position. He seems to be so close, the more I see him try the more I realize how much determination he has even though he is so young. I’m really learning a lot from him. …. oh what’s that Benny you want to say something, fr5ve 7m 6c cv y, did you get all that? He has also learned to “type” like Daddy as you can see, really- he just likes pounding on the poor keyboard. Eating food has become the all time accomplishment, to much my delight, he is eating baby foods and teething cookies, every once in a while we will give him a taste of what we’re eating. He so far hasn’t met a food he doesn’t like. You don’t realize how bad of an eater you are until you entertain thoughts like ” If i ate all the fruits and veggies Benny eats, I’d be super healthy!” or “Would i give Benny this for dinner?”( as I sit and stare and my two pieces of greasy pizza and potato chips)

Oh I can’t forget the holidays, wow! Lets talk about his first Christmas for a while shall we? My oh My, Benny became the center of the universe this past Christmas as family, mainly the Ayala’s and Ralston’s, opened up their generous hearts and poured out gifts upon gifts for our little Benny. To all who gave: Thank you, Benjamin is truly blessed to know your kindness and generosity. Above all we know a lot of love went in to finding the right gift, so thank you, also, for your thoughtfulness.

As Benny kept Joanna and I up for most of the night last night, I decided to post a picture of him sleeping. He usually sleeps through out the whole night. Yet last night he decided that he didn’t want to go to sleep. Which is surprising because he is really starting to feel better, it is Joanna who is still trying to fight off the cold and/or flu.

Also another update on Benny is that he now able to crawl. He can move to places he isn’t suppose to be in a turn of your head. Its amazing to see how strong and how fast he is growing up. Part of me wants him to grow up faster so I can teach him things and do more things with him. Yet the other part is truly cherishing every moment that we have together. I love coming home to my beautiful graceful wife and son who is so excited to see me.

Here is a picture that we took before Christmas. This is easily becoming one of my favorites. It has my grandfather, Benjamin and I. This is a modern version of a picture that my dad took when I was a child. Hopefully I’ll be able to get it scanned and uploaded.
